Topping's PA5 II amplifier is a compact and powerful model, adopting a totally balanced structure and an innovative Class D amplifier circuit, enabling it to develop a significant power of 2x100W under 4Ω with a low level of distortion. The excellent parameterisation carried out by the brand's engineers ensures clear, clean and deep sound reproduction, with no background noise. At 5W and 4Ω, THD+N is measured at less than 0.0004%.
The PA5 II also incorporates an effective and comprehensive protection circuit, acting against overvoltage, undervoltage, short-circuit, overcurrent and overheating.
On the input side, there is a choice of single-ended stereo RCA or two 6.35mm TRS jacks for balanced input. Output is via conventional speaker terminals that accept banana plugs. There's also a 12V trigger on the rear of the unit, enabling the PA5 II to be connected to other devices for automatic on/off. |
